Billy and I first
met when we were youngsters. Although we were not initially very close, by the ages of 8 and 13 we were best friends and our
music brought us closer together. We both supported WEST HAM and often went to Upton Park to watch them, we even went
to the FA Cup final in 1980. Bill was the intelligent one and I was the bad influence, but, we kept each other going through
some tough times. Bill was deeply involved with Disability Rights and helped in the Independent Living Foundation. He
also did a lot of work for the Newham Council. We both appear in the Dr Barnodos information film. The BBC saw this and
made a documentary on disability life and the ILF, which featured on their MAN ALIVE series. A couple of years later they
made a follow up programme. Bill was always involved in Disability Pride week. When he died, 1997, his brother asked if
I could step in. So along with Front Page News, I made several performances including one at the BRICK LANE concert hall
with a Fashion Show, which was filmed for T.V.( Missed Bill ). Bill and I got together a year before he died and began
writing new material, the last track we wrote together and completed was called MUSIC IN MY HEAD which will be on the new
CD. Our best song composition was called STRUGGLE, its about Disabilities and will also be on the album. After Bills death
writing again was hard, but I know he is there to guide me along.
